Just a heads up for anyone who wants to upgrade their CF flash card. I bought this:

On Ebay for $52 posted. I picked up a 12gb laptop hdd for 10 bucks and it's great for 12 gigs of storage while on the go.

The complete package looks like this:

Charging was pretty fast (about 25mins) but that wasn't with a completely dead battery (about 10%).

Supports USB 2.0 which is great.

It transfered a full 512MB card in 4 mins. The CF card is old and slow (does that make a difference).

I only just got it tonight, but so far it looks like a cheap way for portable storage.

    CONS:

Cant preview images (but for the price I guess I cant expect that)
No external battery (so if the battery dies while i'm out I cant change to a fresh one)
Doesn't seem rugged - wouldn't be able to cop much shit (but again the price says it all)
It just gave me error 22 (HDD error) for some unknown reason, turned it off and on and it was fine again.

One thing is that I wont be relying 100% on this unit for storing images when I go overseas.
Storing images for one day i'm fine with, anymore than that then I will have to stop by a net cafe and burn my images onto disc.

Overall it's great for a cheap image tank, reliability? We'll soon find out.
