Fired it up last night for the first time in a long time. Got 43 minutes on a Loader Monsoon run, died on my second loop hahah

 

DLC IS OUUUUUTTTT... I know what I'll be doing this evening!

 

Finally unlocked the new survivor. On Monsoon.

Took 3 days. I regret nothing.

You've no doubt seen them. Once you pick them up, an entry is added to your log book with a little 3D snowglobe of the logged level.

 

Have had barely any time to game lately. But forgot to watch this - I discovered this channel through their Enter The Gungeon videos which are just as entertaining.

RoR2 remains the pinnacle of games where I see two very distinct classes of players, those who know/understand how to play and those who don't.

Experience doesn't seem to matter.

I think in a way it's a design problem with the game, it doesn't really communicate very well which enemies are the major threat (hint, it isn't the scary looking ones), furthermore the lower difficulty levels let you play like a complete crumpet and get away with it. If the difficulty scaling was a little better and the game encouraged you to move better in the early difficulties I think people would be much better at it overall.

Haven't been playing much of late, but was hit by some pretty painful gut issues lately, so opt'd for some game time to help distract from the pain.

During today's run, I snipered one enemy as soon as I dropped into the game, who dropped this weird circular item - turned out to be "His Reassurance". Eventually I assigned it to an equipment drone, and it floated about healing all allies - until a Grand Parent took it out (and all of my drones with a Solar Flare.

... died on the second platforming stage. FML.
