I have a network set up using virtual machines as below. The physcial router has the link to the internet. the virtual machines are host only networks. I have the virtual machines routing between each other, great.

    1. If I want to give them internet access do i need to set up a static default route in freesco router to send all traffic to the physical router?

    2. Anyone know how to do this?

    physical router(192.168.1.0/24)

virtual router (freesco) ------virtual machine one (192.168.2.0/24)

    virtual machine two(192.168.3.0/24)

Thanks (Sorry for the poor diagram)

Well, if all VM's can see the freesco router, then yes i would set their default gw to that if not already, and set a static route on the freesco to the physical router.

    Edit:

Or you could be really lazy and swap them over to a /22 or bigger ;) hence all those IP's would be the same network and be able to talk between themselves.
