Performs about the same as 1070Ti apparently. Can't wait to see the lulzy price though.

yep nVidia's latest round in their apparently successful attempts to fleece the consumer with the same performance for more dollars.

Yeah these cards are pretty much 1070 ti's with a RTX function and if there not sold at a respectable price I doubt anyone will buy them,

From what I heard ( not confirmed ) the 2060 without the RTX function will be known as a 1160 but be the price of a 1060 etc.

A very bad year for nvidia fanboys such as myself :upset:

Most people will brains will just keep buying up 2nd hand 1080 OC/Ti cards for a decent price I guess, since the mining crash the internet is overflowing with them.

and yet there are going to be at least three different variants which is not going to be confusing at all.
not to mention that "RTX on" on the flagship card is good for 30fps 1080p gaming. yay.

    don't be silly...
if the RTX2060 can get 58fps, then surely the 2080ti can get a lot more....

    .... where's my confused emoji...

man, RTX cards are such a ripoff.. there are 3 reasonably new(they haven't been out for that long anyway) RTX cards(RTX2070, 2x RTX2080s) on used section at well under RRP and not a single bid.. lol

I'm glad NVidia stock price dropped 50% in past two month, I hope it'll drop much more.

Meanwhile nvidia have a giant stockpile of midrange 10** series cards which these 'lowend' 2060 non rtx will get rebadged as.

Didn't the revised patch just reduce the quality of the ray tracing, resulting in a performance improvement?

yes, they reduced the quality a bit and improved the performance as well.

Still it doesn't matter, you can use RTX in 1 game, BF5 and no one in their right mindset would have RTX enabled while playing this.....2nd game is due in 15th of February which is Metro and then Mechwarrior 5 at some point this year (I'm not counting all those Asian MMOs getting RTX support).
