The 6 cores have half the write bandwidth, but thinking on this further (after this evenings testing), your read and copy might be low due to memory interleaving size. I get similar results at 2KB, try changing it to 512.

Just following up on this, I tested dual rank sticks vs single rank sticks with identical settings (same profile). Bandwidth is roughly within margin of error, but the latency is significantly down. So I guess that answers that one.

Good news on the beta bios updates thus far. This was looking like it could have ended up costing AMD Money, Money, Money; maybe even been their Waterloo!

I think this will inspire more people to Take a Chance on AMD. If only more people could get their hands on a 3900X (I got mine early but so many others are waiting, saying, Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, plz, AMD).

I am not proud (but I am glad about the Arrival of ABBA).

Something seems a bit off with your latency, may something to do with the subtimings? Im getting about 70-71ns with slightly worse timings @3600mhz with my dual rank kit.

i should note that changing to a different proc/cadbus settings had a huge effect on my write speeds and latency as well, setting a proc of 60 halved my write speeds and increased the latency to 85ns compared to a proc value of 48.

I hear ya ...I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do. I've been waiting for the missing mhz to Rock Me but performance was still good enough in the meantime that it wasn't an SOS situation.

As far as the server market goes, it will be The Winner Takes it All and it'll probably be Intel saying Hasta maƱana 'til we meet again Don't know where, don't know when...

That is pretty decent. Imagine the results you could get with good parts!

Nope this is a direct shot at MSI. I need to keep it semi thinly-veiled or Agg will kick my arse (again).

    Great googly moogly, nice board.

I kind of wish I'd gone with a 570 board now, the pro carbon has been great but I can't shake this 'feeling' that it's holding my cpu back. Even though some extensive testing by a reviewer said it didn't

    Once you get the itch it's hard to stop scratching it.........CPU comes tomorrow via post and SSD Monday;

well a great fan of the lian li 011 dynamic and have a Kracken X72 360 aio in that...............I also have another 360 aio that I cant sell on here because its new

Problem with included fans is they are not really quality but at the price the PM02 is good value but pretty sure I saw a neg review on airflow

I like the dust filters on it and it is one of the main reasons I got it, price is awesome (includes 4x140mm fans) and the layout for SSD and HDD also got me interested. Interesting review but the PM01 is a horrid to look at IMHO and the RL06 is ok but both have poor filters (the particle size will allow dust in). The PM02 has micro fine filters (which neither of the others do) that will catch most dust and will reduce the need for internal housekeeping if ever?

the filters will clog easily restricting airflow and require cleaning. but as you say the inside of the case will remain freer of dust.

regardless of the case though the filters will all need cleaning.
i have no filters and a leaf blower. blowing the inside out takes all of 10 seconds.
and One exhaust fan to reduce the vacuum cleaner effect.

That's a really nice board, very impressed with the Strix lineup on X570.

I believe you have some kind of itch that needs scratching

In all seriousness I don't expect there to be any real world difference in CPU performance between them, memory performance however I think most X570 boards will edge out the previous gen.
