Not required for MSI boards, every one that I've seen has bios flashback. Just download the current bios and follow the instructions to load it up

Yeah tried no OC at all too back when I had the other cables in.

I replaced the 24Pin with the original one and left the sleeved PCIe/EPS cables and no crashes at all yesterday so I think I've pinpointed it.

OG 24pin doesn't reach in the H200 so I guess I need to replace the PSU.

Thanks, unfortunately this board doesn't have it. This one must be very old stock if the BIOS isn't updated :(

They don't all have bios flashback... for instance the MSI B450I Gaming Plus AC ITX board doesn't have it.

I don't think any MITX board has flash back.

I've decided to give up on the SFX PSU entirely and have ordered a Silverstone 650W platinum so I can use my sleeved cables I bought.

If this doesn't work I'm selling everything and buying moving on with my life.

Mmm was your other PSU a Silverstone too? I stopped buying them after one would crash every 5 min into a game with my rtx 2080.

Yeah it was.. If it does it with this one, I'm returning it immediately.

Hoping different psu, different size, different rating = totally different guts.

Yeah thats a bit weird. I got the 2203 BIOS, haven't come across any noticable changes from the previous one, 1407. Now I'm wondering if I should bother with 2204. It's even an identical size, 17.33 MB on both 2203 and 2204, as opposed to 15.21MB for 1407.

Played a few hours on this unit and it was all good, 5y warranty, platinum, compact size, fan stop at low draw, works with my existing cables, can't go too wrong.

Guess my epic journey with stability has come to an end!
