    real talk

is there any amd game bonus going on ?

usually wait till these come out and sell the game to offset price of the cpu :)

why is none of the reviewers putting more on the amazing tdps which have been confirmed to be accurate (unlike intel whos are questionable?)

so hyped for a 65w 8 core 16 thread with a solid cooler that does a serious job included (prob sell this if you dont need it ?)

amd kept their promise with their ipc beating intel all we need now is the clocks to go up (next gen aim im guessing ?)

it isnt a clean sweep but still a win for me........ figured they wouldnt win overall intels just amazing at clock speed even if it costs tdp to have stable 5ghz chips is a solid feat which i dont feel intel gets given enough credit for which is kinda sad (yes they weren't amazingly innovative but stable 5ghz on a high core chip is a feat)

good old competition cant remember the last time i couldnt pickup a cpu on release day due to being out of stock for amd o_O

Ok what would be better 2x16GB 3600 or 4x8GB 3600, or would it be better to stick with 3200 in 2x16GB/4x8GB for the 3900x Crosshair VIII x570?
Yeah the 3900x impressed me

2 sticks will always be easier to drive than 4.

2x16gb imho, I had issues with trying to OC 4 sticks.

I'd just get 3200 and OC it to 3600+, I've got 3000mhz running at like 3333mhz or something atm.

As museumman said earlier in the thread, the reviews are all running on 'gimped' bios. A new bios has been released overnight to help with memory and overclocking.

I have seen 4.2-4.3 all core overclocks so far, so we can expect higher?

Ignore any benchmarks on boards that didnt use AGESA 1.0.0.3ab. Most reviewers fid reviews on AGESA 1.0.0.2 or 1.0.0.3a. Release bios should be 1.0.0.3ab. The only one ive seen run that bios was Joe @ bearded hardware while doing a live overclock stream at about 5am this morning. I didnt get a chance to see his final results but he did a quick dial in on 1.0.0.3. Then was going to update newly released drivers ( out last night ) and the new 1.0.0.3ab bios. 3700x on a godlike.

Out of the box it booted auto vcore value of 1.5v :Paranoid: after a quick fiddle he dropped voltage down to iirc 1.1875v for 4.2ghz all core boost.

There is lead in the pencil, just needs sharpening.

No reason why not if this is true..

I member getting the stock 1700 cooler and using it to oc to 4ghz in a cougar qbx case.

That cooler was a monster havent used any of the new gen ones (my only gripe was the amd logo in white leds which couldnt be turned off or change colour)

Its a pretty decent first day release stack from 3200G up to 3900X.

I want a 5 core 9 thread CPU though... Where is the 3520L?

Little bit disappointed at prices tbh. X570s I expected high prices. There are some decently priced entry boards in the low 200s.

The 3600 is what I'm most disappointed with. I'm sure it's an amazing chip. But you have been able to get the 2600 for $200-210 for well over a year. $315 for the 3600 is too high in my opinion in comparison to the 2600 that is.

It's launch day so I'm sure the bargains will start appearing soon. But I still expected the 3600 to be in the 200's.

Apparently the Gigabyte UEFI is still a piece of shit according to reviews. Why release such an awesome board (electrically) only to be let down by the UEFI (again)?
