Hehe, yep. One I'll probably buy, and one I'd like to buy, but is really too many $$ for someone who won't be overclocking much, if at all :)
    It's aspirational :D

Sure, but how does minesweeper go?

Umart got rid of the credit card fee when covid started and they stopped taking pay-on-pickup including cash and bank card. All orders are pay-on-checkout online now. I guess it didn't seem fair to charge a credit card fee when that is the only way to pay apart from Paypal and bank transfer.

But they kept (or added?) the PayPal fee which 9 times out of 10 is linked to a debt card .

Back on topic, waiting for emails about rough ETAs on the 5900X (probably wont get replies), tempting to get the 5600X now, 5900X later and stick the 5600X in my NAS but I did want to put something like a 3700X in the NAS. It's also a damn hassle to rip the CPU out of my rig and replace it later.

I ordered the 5950X from Scorptec. Order No: 157781x Order Time: 01:05:37 AEDT. (CPU's didnt go up until ~01:05am) I thought I got in pretty quick... PCCG seem to have fulfilled waaaay more orders than Scorptec. Not sure whats going on. Maybe their stock is coming by boat?

Who knows, Umart only got 5950X stock yesterday and fuck knows how many they actually had before selling out. When I checked the website said 5 and that wasn't long after they went up...

PCCG seem to be the best for stock right now and there on the ball with replying on social media and giving stock updates.

As mentioned the other times this video has been linked here, they don't cover dual rank 3800 or 4000Mhz speeds. Nor do they cover 1440p or 4k. More data is needed.
