Yeah AsRock = nice guys - should give some folks some more options in the budget 5600X gaming territory!

Its only money.. I don't want to think about AM5 and DDR5.. TBH I think this current setup will last me a long time. My whole household is transferring to AM4.

    I have a Ryzen 3100 in a GB b450 itx.

Im thinking of getting a Netgear MS510TX.. I will just connect the NAS to the 10G SPF+, and will use the 2.5Gb that the B550 motherboards come with for now.

    Home offices are expensive!

I really wanted to go Asrock for x570 but their board layout decisions were just too shitty this time around.

Finalised my build as my 5900x arrived from PCCG, slotted in to the Asus Crosshair Hero VIII - quick bios flash and she's running.

Coming from a well used i7 3770k... it's a decent bump up in performance! Coupled with 970 EVO m.2, 32gb C16 ram and an RTX3080, very pleased all round :)

Stay patient, it's more than worth the wait!

Didn't take them long to upload a BIOS for B350 boards + 3xxx series either. Glad I bought one.

    I've got this kit: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/team...3600mhz-dual-channel-kit-black-my-001-8p.html (2x8GB 3600CL14)

Yeh IF 2000 is my target but DRAM calculator wont give me timing for anything above 3800 and I dont really know what I'm doing without DRAM calculator. Any suggestions? Was thinking of just trying the "safe timings" on 3800 but at 4000 or maybe even set everything to auto and just try 2000 if clock etc...

I turned the dram voltage down to 1.48 from 1.5 and it seems to be stable.
