    i have tiny hands.

the point remains - there IS such a thing as fanless/passive cooled x570 boards, which is what the original poster inquired about.

there is now and its a fairly recent addition to the lineup.
on release all x570 boards had active cooling.
this is what prompted the question

The dark hero is new - but im pretty sure? the aorus was in the initial board offerings over a year ago.

regardless, im glad i never bought into that series - most ppl would be better served now by the all fanless b550 anyway

Initially the Aorus X570 Xtreme was the only X570 mobo without a chipset fan. It’s one of the reasons I bought it. Apart from the Asus dark hero and the full cover watercooled boards, I don’t know of any without a chipset fan.

Shoppingexpress have 5900x's up, for 1049 plus post though, $200 markup....

I was going to wait for the 5700x to come along but my 3600 up and died, these shortages suck.

Same, was torn between a 5800x and a 5600x, but deciding just to grab a 5600X at some point, but nothing happening so far... so wondering if worth just hanging on to see if 5700X is all that far away?? :p

There are some 5800X in stock, but just not sure it's worth the price for it's features...

No 5900XT yet? C'mon, i swear it felt like the 3900XT came out quickly after I got my 3900X (which was fairly early in the piece).

I want a cheaper 5900X! (or XT, whatever, i'm not fussy)

Yeah looked at the 5800x's too but doesn't seem to be a great buy, especially when compared to the 5900x and wherever I'm guessing the 5700x will slot in ($600?).

Not that desperate yet (running a 3400g for now, which is... limiting) but I hope it doesn't come to it.

That's pretty quickly like I thought. By the time stock is available the XT will be ready to launch

wont that make those cores shitty latency in the way the 3100 is vs 3300x?

how do we know which ones are which now? cos i would rather a cpu that doesnt have split cores.

The latency would mirror the 5900X and 5950X.
From my understanding only CTR 2.0 shows the presence of a 2nd CCD. I doubt there would be anything externally.

Edit: just because you have a second core, doesn't mean that it will effect anything performance wise.
