No idea what the 11900K will be like (maybe it will be awesome), but I'm not sure I'd be rolling those benchmarks out as backup (even ignoring the fact that the 5950X has 2x as many cores).

    Time will tell I guess!

K promise that I won't buy 11900K unless it can easily beat Crapzen 5950X in games, happy?

No one really cares what you buy though.

Besides, 5950X are in shortage, so if anything you'd be doing everyone a favour not trying to buy one

Did someone really just come in here to boast a new CPU is going to be worse than an old CPU?

    Odd.

depends.. does the rage mode also enables the non-existing DLSS on 6800/6900, and double the ray tracing performance so they can keep up with RTX2060? gj trashmd.. lol

It’s an inferior product before it even launches.

lol who really needs two PCI-E 4.0 slots for GPUs? how many people's gonna run 3090 SLI? not to mention that performance difference between PCI-E 4.0 and 3.0 is not noticeable with current graphics cards..
and he conveniently forgot to mention that AMD X570 boards use much more power and also runs much hotter, at least Intel Z590 boards doesn't require a noisy fan.. and it's also gonna run 110% stable, not ~90% like Trashmd boards.

    Anyway Intel vs AMD =

No guys, it won't be out soon if slower than current ryzen. Amd need to allow cores working at higher frequencies in order to beat them again.

AMD still has process headroom without using EUV machines. Warhol should clock ~10% higher. But its based on guess work atm.

If they allow ambient 5ghz all core on zen 2 lineup + fixing the IF mess, then would be hard for intel to catch up:thumbup:. Atm for the new i9 with 19% ipc, enough to bump ahead of ryzen for few fps here and there for them to have the crown back till next gen cpu's...

Intel can still be ahead by a few % and lose. In a game of performance leapfrog it's soon a matter of market share where AMD can only improve and once the battle lines are drawn around price, it's us who are the winners. Hopefully the GPU market goes the same way when Intel joins the fray properly in a few years.
