yeah, Ryzen loves 1:1. Does IF not go to 1900??
unfortunately no 1900 with this. not fuss about if because planning to lock it at 3600. are you aware of what voltage to tweak to help IF ?
yeah we will see... might be gains in overclocking the IF or OC in general. May be no 'factory' gains, but if it is better silicon then we may have some fun with them.
I'll be interested to see what 5800x can do as a B2
"AMD's Zen 3 CPU refresh is about expanded manufacturing not performance"
Skeptic in me says bullshit. Likely used to denote refined process much like the XT series on Zen2
Sorry dude, missed this. I assume you have tried SoC voltage? Also try disabling SoC spread spectrum.
all good mate,
yep figure it out too, soc voltage increase if voltages in background (at least on my board does). settled for 4600 c16 and 1900 IF. not a bad cpu tho
who else happy with their cpu? im not gonna update mine in a long time
Yeah same... my Phenom II X6 45nm beasty is still gud...
i loved mine shame that mobo shit itself got rid of it
Are you looking for an x570 ? Thinking to get rid of my crosshair hero dark...
I'm just waiting for the Zen 4 Lisa Su VIP Stiletto Edition to upgrade.
Nowhere else to go after a 5950X really.
Best X570 board you can get really.
For those of you who have owned the asus viii impact x570. Did you find the vrm fans noisy?
Mixed feedback online from people. Tempted to get one. Saw theres a thermal tape fix suggestion.
Interesting ... just got my 5800x up and running under water.
It only hits 4.8 for a quick second and stays at 4.53 while running cinebench the whole time, doesnt go past 65c at full load....
Should it stay at 4.8 while underload?
You need to enable pbo. It should boost to well over 5Ghz.
but 4.53 all core seems about right.
Cheers... its a solid 4.75 now during cinebench but my overall score has gone down lol.
