Just running it xmp profile... all good.
no i mean my phenom x6 965be mobo shit tiself lol my current setup is fine
It can now beat the 7th Gen in SuperPi!!!
Excellent news for all those SuperPi professionals out there
Recent Hardware unboxed video says no.
Really, isn't it a little late for X570? Also Dark Hero already has a passive chipset.
Yeah... but maybe Asus still sees value in the X570 platform for the next 12 months, despite the rumours of Ryzen 6000 on X600 this year.
I think they're doing it because Gigabyte are as well.
What program is every running thee w days to stress test AMD?
As Above - if it's for profession use, SuperPi
Prime95, Cinebench loops. The usual.
been a while since ive played around.
Also running all cores im hitting 4.7 @ 1.3v/
Single core is hiting 4.8 @ 1.45v, is that to much volts?
Nope, up to 1.45V is fine for daily clocks.
Must admit this upgrade has been well worth it, was well over due.
Sitting at 26c under idle and 59c under full load across all cores.
4.8 all cores and 5.022 single core.
Anyone got a nicely tuned 5900x here?
got my 5800x running 2000IF mems 4000 c16-16-16 and 5950x 2000IF Mems 4000-c17-17-17
Two mates have 5900Xs and cant get past 1900 IF, i keep telling them its their rubbish Gigabyte Master X570 boards, and they should have gotten X570 Asus boards, but surely thats just my idiotic bias there.
There wouldnt be a massive difference between the Master and my two itx board (STRIX and IMPACT)?
Assume its the CPU, not sure however the 6 core chiplets are clocking IF, both my 8 core ones (8x1 amd 8x2) seem to hit 2000 IF easily.
My 5950X tops out at 1900IF on an Anus Dark Hero board.
maybe i got kissed on the dick, or maybe its not actually stable, hmm.
the 5800X has been 2000IF since last year, the 5950x only got it too 2000 this morning, as only finally got new ram for it.
my mates 5900x is topping out at 1900 as well. not that 1900IF 3800memz vs 2000IF 4000memz is a noticeable difference for everyday use anyway.
