    Is there any 3rd party software to limit individual core temperatures on a 5000x series cpu?

    I use two power profiles, and switch between them as required.

    For regular tasks (browsing, PPTX, Word, etc.) I use a custom low power profile that idles at 34°C. For gaming I use a high power profile that idles at 45°C.

    oops, realised i am in the wrong thread, i have a 3600, not a 5 series.
