Should be an excellent phone but with a high dollar value I expect nothing less. I just picked up the Note 9 again after another stint with Apple. Wish I could just stay with one but I always keep swapping. Expensive habit.

Looks like people are already saying to skip it and wait for the upcoming S11 with the new processor etc.

Its almost an 8 month wait..people always say wait, but those people aren't who the Note series are marketed at. I would take a Note over any of the regular S line any day of the week.

The only real difference now days is the S pen. Given how blurred the product range now is with the S10+ etc. the Note isn't the powerhouse it used to be.

Agree. I wonder what percentage get the flagship "S line" compared to the "Note line". Maybe 20% get the Note 80% get the S? I would say that's why the S line is so similar to the Note these days. I don't think the Note line should offer something other than the S pen to set it apart.

going from a s8 to either this or wait for the s11, really not to sure on what will be the better option for a phone to keep for 2-3 years. anyone know what big features this will have yet?

Guess it says it all really how underwhelming this release was given no one has really replied to this thread. Not sure this was a step in the right direction at all. Going to wait for the S11 at this point but not sure about Samsung. Hardly surprised they have been removing any media with them laughing at Apple for removing the headphone jack.

S10 5G or S10 Plus (Snapdragon variant) would be the one to buy if you were looking to keep a phone for a few years.

I really like the aesthetics and squareness of it over the S10 personally. I'd get one in white but its not sold in AU

I absolutely agree with this statement. Been a user of both the s line and note line for years. I really love the note phones, every year I regret buying the s series but never regret buying the note.

Note 10 + come at me, looks fantastic.

what is that the note does significantly better than the s line?
my s10 is outstanding by so many criteria its not funny and i find it hard to believe the s9 was rubbish, so exactly how is the note this amazing upgrade from a technical/efficiency pov vs ego pov?????

really hard to imagine how someone could be so sucked into the apple ecosystem that they would still prefer to rock an iphone over samsung's very latest and greatest.
