    A few big features:
the do not disturb will allow a certain caller to still come thru. IE- wife (we're shift workers)
built in blue light filter and torch, removed x2 3rd party app's
    split screen
also reckon I am getting ever better battery life now easily steching a further 10% a day

I just got the update today. Fingerprint sensor is crazy fast compared to before, or maybe it's just the load time to the home screen. Regardless, it's noticeable.

Not really a fan of the stock launcher and Nova doesn't work as well as before (icons aren't compatible) so I might have to find another one.

I think the pulldown menu was better on M but I guess I can get used to it now that I figured how to make it 'not fucking white'.

With the S8 coming soon what might the S7 drop to price wise in the next few weeks?

Hard to say I know, but if it will drop more than say $100 I can wait a few weeks, otherwise I might get one now, Kogan have them for about $665 which seems an ok price.

Yeah I tried a bunch of others and they all sucked so went back to Nova. Still more fluid and feels faster than TW.

Mine updated a few days back. Has anyone found the battery life has reduced a bit? I've checked all the usual things.

    Can't say I noticed it.

But I'm not receiving phone calls and getting notified of my voicemail up to half an hour after the call.

Not sure if it's the network or phone but it started happening around the same time as the update.

It seems to last like 5.5 hours of screen time. Before the battery lasted so long I never gave it a second thought. I do have it set to wqhd res - but that's what it was before. Seems a bit shit to have to scale it down just to last.

Mine is the same or better for battery life. Day and a half between charges with quite a bit of twitter use at full res.

having issues (again) with my S7

the home and recent apps buttons have randomly decided to stop working

this happened before, but i can't remember how i fixed it

the home/fingerprint button works to unlock the phone, but once unlocked it stops working

also used to have double tap home goes to camera, that doesn't work either

tried booting in to safe mode and wiping cache partition, still doesn't work

haven't installed any new apps, not sure if it updated any overnight

    any ideas?

Don't think so, I've fixed it before, just can't remember how I fixed it!

EDIT - updated to Nougat and that seems to have fixed it

Just got an S7 yesterday. Notification to upgrade to Nougat was there as soon as I turned the phone on. I see there's an option for WQHD res, I'm assuming that would take a bigger chunk on battery life. Anyone using phone at that res? If so, what results?

Cool, not too bad, wonder if I'd see a difference, only one way to find out.

Also, i wanna root this phone. Haven't rooted a phone in a while, if I were to do so, I say goodbye to carrier upgrades right?

I'm waiting for my phone so can't say for sure, but been doing some reading. I think you also say goodbye to S Health and Knox (although I don't know what that actually means)
