Hey, just wondering if anyone has brought a samsung ssd recently and claimed the cash redemption? I claimed 2 ssds early july and both were approved within 3 hours after i sent the claims in, yet I havent recieved the funds yet. I've double check all my details and account number was correct and they are... just wondering how long it take them to send the cash? Will send an email to them if need be.

    Thanks

My guess, all you will get, is a credit on your next Samsung purchase.
    I could be wrong.

I'm pretty sure it tells you that you'll get the money in your account in ~28 days, cos I remember reading that after I applied for the cash redemption.
Anyway I got my refund ~28 days after it was approved.

    totally wrong..

Nah, its a cash redemption, they ask you for your bank details.

Whenever I tried entering the drive serial, it wasn't in the correct format. Lost interest.

I had to hassle them, they refused my first 2 submissions (one because they couldn't see the date that was clearly visible and the other time said invalid serial).
I ended up calling them and getting it sorted but the whole process took 3 months.
normally I wouldn't bother but my cash back was $250 so I wasn't letting them get away with it.
I think they make it hard in the hope people give up.

Probably just shit systems and/or people in place that makes this happen. Don't think it's probably in any way malicious.

I've had the money go in to my account from the 970EVO I bought a month or so ago, the 860QVO I bought and claimed the other week is still to go in though, which is fair enough.
