    Yep it's replacement time.

Unlike some of you, I might have to wait until tomorrow to get out the CC.

It's a shame nobody wants to take my money today and deliver tomorrow as I'll be working from home then ...

Anyone know what safe Vcore for these are for daily use?

Just going through Prime test @ 4.5 first then pushing it higher...... want to establish a safe 24/7 operating floor first.

I dont know about safe voltages but since its the same architecture as SB do we assume that its around 1.35v? Some say 1.4, some say max for benching is 1.55v, so at this point its up to you. The lower volts you use the safer it is, the longer it will last, the less chance of it degrading, simple as that.

Had a feeling these were going to be volt hungry monsters.

Seems a bit strange. 4.5 is easily achievable but pushing beyond, these early CPUs needs lots of volts.

id be keen to see 24/7 everyday o/c rather then what the max you can reach, take a CPUZ validation and reboot.

I'd like to see Prime95 blend 4+hours and Coretemp max temps.
but then again its early days for that.
