I don't even dare start games like these. That's job-loss territory for me.

Adding that to the "when I retire" list.

Can't fucking wait! Sunk so many hours into Factorio. Some of them rage inducing due to playing with certain people. LOL

There is an alpha sign-up on their page too! Apparently releasing this year, at least in an Alpha/Early Access state.

So it is essentially a global warming simulator. Not that I care or anything, just the first thought that came into mind when I started watching the trailer above. I've never played Factorio or anything like it.

Looks so awesome, i'm not into these kind of games but i'm interested. Funny, it's from the developer of Goat Simulator, using the revenue to make something great.

This looks like my kind of game. My dream is to play a survival/development type of game without having to kill things. It’s why I used to play rust. On empty servers. Haha

    *ding ding ding*

Is now on pre-sale at Epic Game Store (29.95) BUT the more exciting news is that it is closed alpha weekend on twitch - so why not head on over and see what the lucky ticket winning cool kids are playing....

PS: Even tho the promo vid shows 4 ppl playing in co-op, Coffee Stain has stated there is no player cap yet - so feel free to add 100 friends and see if it breaks

I guess now its open beta i can talk about it.

Its okay. Its about 5x less complex than Factorio. They really need to up the recipe count. They definitely need to add piping. There is no challenge. It doesnt feel as open ended as factorio though I guess it would be.

Try 10 hours. I think I unlocked everything in 10 hours. Doesnt seem to hit the same itch as Factorio mostly I think because it takes so long for you to ramp up production. A new unit takes forever to get going.

Yeah their development tiers are largely adding machines etc. I've bought it, but I'll probably play it through as is and then wait until the 1.0 launch.

Doesn't help one's expectations when I played Factorio modded hard to increase the complexity because I found the vanilla game a bit shallow. I've probably ruined myself for life on these games on the first outing:/

But what a game to ruin yourself on. I'd much rather play Factorio at this stage so Ill be waiting for 1.0 as well.
