I still dont understand your reasoning. Even if they are not good with computers your cash & your computer is still gone................

Try something safer like a false bottom in your bed or desk or something.

Hiding cash in a computer is stupid as thats what people steal. Not desks etc

yeah but if they break in and steal your pc your illegal guns and crack rocks will be gone regardless. computers aren't worth all that much these days though i think a thief would just take the easy to grab lcd tv and ps3 along with any jewellery and shit.
i think you wont ever be able to create a hiding spot that's that good. there's really not much to PCs and as soon as you take the side panels off a case you can pretty much see everything. since you're building it from scratch id say either leave a gap underneath the mobo tray or create a fake ceiling and hide it behind the front panel then you can put your weed and eye drops in there. with all the fans your parents will probably smell it anyway

lol, people who break into houses usually steal shit to sell for drugs. They dont give a shit if they can use it or not.

you know what a fire hazzard is right? hiding something inside a working psu is a good example of one. thats not a good idea.

my suggestion, take a look at a cosmos case, they're expensive but the top pannel which directs air out has plenty of room to hide everything you want, and all you need to do is unscrew one screw and remove the pannel. its a gap around 5cm high. 40cm long and 15cm wide

Why do you explicitly need to do it in a case?

Get one of these, put your money in it and turn it on. No one will ever find it.

I know it's not exactly what you're looking for, but with my Antec P193, I hide stuff behind the 5.25" bay air filters on top of the ODD.

That way, I can get to it without taking the PC apart (just take the air filter out), and nobody can see it (unless of course they randomly decide to take my PC apart)

It's more for hiding stuff from family members/snoops though, not your stash.
