Ha, just posted this in another thread. I was doubting myself as to whether it was real or not.

I'm sure everyone was expecting a Nintendo GameBoy Mini. But cool that Sega decided to go for it.

Is this for ants? A cool piece but completely unusable if that size scale is what it appears to be.

I consider it a collectors item. They could have made a plastic keychain, or they could have made a thing that works for novelty factor.

I don't think it needs to be practical at all. How many people bought the Sega Megadrive Mini + "Tower of Power" purely for the novelty factor? Same deal here.

In theory it could potentially have Master System games on it too.

Thanks to Keratoconus I primarily run a 32" 1440p display at 125% DPI.

This looks like an interactive postage stamp to me!

For the authentic experience, this needs to be powered by 3x non-rechargeable A27 batteries that last 60-90 minutes

Although having a tiny portable physical JRPG (kind of like a Shining Force tamagochi) would be fun.

Japanese games so of little interest if you can't read Japanese. Seems more like a novelty than anything else. As the system looks fairly tiny hand sized.

Hopefully they will do an English release for the western country's and not make this a Japanese exclusive. Yet IMO they should have done a larger version with more games.

don't hold your breath, i agree it would be nice but the core audience is Japan and many are happy to import this type of item.

    omg so cute, lol
