    Hi,

After running ScanDisk on a laptop, Windows asked the following question:

"You may be able to convert one or more of your drives to a more efficient file format called FAT32. If you convert your drive(s) to this format your programs will load faster and your drive(s) will have more disk space. Do you want to convert…."

Sounds good to me, but is there any reason Not To convert?

    Thanks for any suggestions, Roger

Thanks to all who have replied so quickly. Unfortunately I cannot see how to access the other replies - it must be past my bedtime - I am sure there is a link to the other posts here somewhere!

    Good night all, Roger
