Too late for that. They went bust about 3 years ago
have a green lp custom in storage atm, but have this keeping me sane for now
Nice Maton! what model is that? And whats the LP doing in storage?
Storage is where nice guitars go to die... and they usually smell like it too
Had this for a month or so now. Still very happy with it
Cue break-style guitar pic (PC chair is just an easy and nice way to take pics of a guitar!)
Jim Root Sig. Telecaster
looks like the messiah.
sandwichamwin, wanna buy/trade guitars?
what've you got to trade/sell?
atm i've got to trade:
fender telecaster mij with kinman pickups
charles cilia custom
Yeah it's the messiah, guitars in storage cos I'm moving house actually. Temp accommodation wouldn't last long with the h&k triamp
Not really looking to trade or buy anything atm. I did play a charles cilia recently which came in for a restring at work. Beautiful guitar but I don't really have anything of similar value for trade, nor do I have money .
You should definitely post pics though
I'll trade 4 ten dollar notes for the 565 while we're at it
Stay away from my 565
got this shipped in a couple of weeks ago from chicago
it's an '87 usa made fender stratocaster in torino red with a maple neck.. has fender vintage noiseless pickups installed and is in excellent condition for a 24 yr old strat.. love it!
holy shit dude, where from and how much?
telecaster with emgs, killer combo
Over the weekend I swapped the gear from my EC400AT into my Viper 400. The Viper is the guitar I feel the most comfortable playing, but it didn't have the sound I was after.
So, from EMG 81/85 and black chrome hardware to Seymour Duncan JB/59 and all chrome hardware.
It sounds much nicer now, a bit like an SG standard but more fat/throaty on the bridge pickup.
here it is.
damn we all got amazing guitars... i hope we all playing them enough so we can make them sound as good as they are haha
Wait, you guys actually play guitar???
A mate leant me something a bit different for a few weeks -
A Gibson Hound Dog. I really don't know a lot about it - it's short, looks fucking cool, the resonator sounds fantastic and it's a hell of a lot of fun to play. I've decided playing slide in the lap is by far easier to keep the slide bar orientation right. Been having a ball sliding like a spastic all night
Kick ass guitar. Now you just need to work out how you can keep it .
As a National purist/fetishist I'm fighting the urge to say Gibson Dobros are an abomination, but that looks pretty nice and probably plays well too. Unusual and nice to see.
Doesn't get much more classic than that.
