Very nice. I would prefer "IA" yellow, but that will be a beautiful instrument.

    Hey guys

I'm trying to find an LTD H-300 or similar guitar. Must be horizon, no Floyd rose, and the old "cockstock" headstock.

Always wanted one, can't find anywhere. Might get the H-1001 soon, howver they have the F headstock, which I like but it's no H-300.

If you have one or know someone and they are willing to part ways, please let me know ;)

I'm active on Perthbands and Bmusic do I'm already watching there

Just picked up a G&L Asat classic custom in Butterscotch Blonde.

I'm not a fan of the headstock shape, almost enough for me to not even bother trying it, but it plays so nicely and the pickups are unbelievably good, so I just had to get it.

Hey guys, just starting to play electric (started about a fortnight ago).

Going to be playing heavy rock / metal :)

    Bought these so far:
    Ibanez rgr321ex
Line 6 DT 25 tube amp
    Line 6 4x12 Cabinet (celestial vintage 30s)

(also a Line 6 Spider IV 75w combo, used this for about a week and its really good but couldnt resist the Tube/Cab :))

Next purchase will be a HD500

Holy Moley. Thats more than enough to get you started

Does that amp have a power switching/soak/attenuation function? I'd imagine your street wouldnt appreciate the noise when you crank it right up to get that sweet sweet tube saturation

Yeh with Billy Hide closing down I got some great prices on the amp and cab, the guitar and spider amp I purchased at full price though before i found out about the receivership.

Haha yeh thankfully it has a "Quiet Mode" aka "Girlfriend / Neighbour Mode" but I have found that turning the channel volume down and the master up around 60-70% gets it cooking nicely :)

use the attenuator instead. keeping the channel volume down won't supply the power to the preamp tubes needed to get that "tube sound"

Yeah pretty ridiculous to be honest. You really don't need to put that big of an investment into a hobby before you know you even enjoy it. Although it's cheap I would of recommended you (he) buy some decent gear for a nice price and really get a feel for what works for you. Plus there is no reason to get an amp head + cabinet, even for a beginner. You don't need volume, and with an amp of smaller wattage you will reach a nicer tone at lower volumes (tube).

We all get gear lust but wow!
    Nice haul anyway, I'm jelly.

The green one is the standard 'Eriza Verde' colour and the single cut is the limited 'Dark Cherry Sunburst' quilt top
