i thought it would be interesting to see what people take to LANs

this is not limited to bag, boxes are fine too :), you can include food but i have not as it does not live in my bag all the time

i was going through my bag to day and just realized how much junk i have in there

    2X 10m Cat6 cables heat shrinked together
2X 5m Cat6 cables, one is a bit dodgy hence the 10m cables
1X 5m Cat5e with loads of tape on it so no one steals it, i lend this one out
    4X molex to sata cables
    2X sata cables
    1X mouse bag
    2X blank DVDs
    4X pens
    1X stress ball
6X power cord and 1 power board
    1X tool set
3X dvi cable (1 single and one dual link)
1X display port cable, my 30" does not like DP for some reason
    1X mouse mat
    1X audio cable
    1X headset (not in pic)

I just throw all my shite (including a 16 port gigabit switch) into a puma sports bag which barely closes =D, take 2x5m cat5e 1x15m cat5e and a 20 or 30m one reason? dunno..

I don't recommend doing this because now the hand rest of my G15 is broken =(

that tower bag looks interesting, though i dunno how far you need to actually carry your tower, its normally only about 10 metres for me :) under the arm works the treat.

i normally end up with a few bags, at least one box of stuff, about a dozen network cables, a bunch of kettle cables, an 8 port, and 1 or 2 24 port switches, my computer and my server, and maybe a spare computer for a mate, it ends up been a fair bit of stuff... but thats what you get for running smallish lans, oh and dont forget you need to take a chair aswell.

but i dont leave my stuff in a bag, it comes out and goes in a big draw when i get back home.

Haha Im just picturing somebody with an epic full tower case mounted on their back, trekking through a dense jungle, cleaving overhanging foliage with a machete, eyes ever-searching for the fabled lost LAN of Montezuma
