    A few of us used them in the Chia thread, I think I put a pic in the storage thread. Just QSFP to QSFP chaining the shelves, and QSFP to SAS to HBA card. I've got a few I should list at some stage, one with 3TB drives, two with 4TB drives. IOM3 in mine, which was plenty fine enough. Just ran them JBOD as individual drives. I like the EMC KTN-STL3 also, only 15 drives but quite a shallow unit.

    I like how quiet the NetApp DS is once it settles post boot & init. I have QSFP to SAS cables for mine, just waiting on some replacement disks - 5 were faulty when arrived.

    Yeah, to me they were quiet enough. I had 4 of them and the EMC in my home office with me and it was fine to me. Just the one running now. :)

    They are invincible. I have the IOM3's and various disks from 12TB to 22TB mix of SAS and SATA.

    Not my rack, though when I watched it, I immediately thought of this thread, so sharing for others.

    Warning: this guy is total nuts for cables … so watch at your own peril.

    Did some cable management today and finally got my NAS racked. Slightly embarrassed that I bought a UPS that doesn't quite fit in the rack, but such is life.

    Future plans include a 4-node ProxMox cluster on Minisforum MS-01s with Ceph, a UI Pro Max 24 PoE switch to replace the 10-port PoE that is reaching capacity, and a USW-Aggregation-Pro for aggregation and 10GbE networking for the cluster. Combined with a brush type OCD panel that should fill up the rest of the space.

    I don't see IPs there but I am guessing that's a pretty flat network.
    Looks like you have pretty much everything on wifi.

    Just some blinky, blinky lights (from the front) for the lovers of blinky lights.

    Number one;

    ... and number two. Ever changing, well, when I can be bothered.
    She's a sexy beast the SC847, with another 20 sleds in the back.

    Richmond syndrome - blinky lights!
