Showcase Your Mac(s)

    Yeah, I suppose. I only need consumer grade hardware as my machine isn't doing important stuff all the time. I think it would be a good idea for them to release a cheaper tower Mac with standard consumer hardware, but then again it is Apple...

    Just got a new Unibody macbook a coupla weeks ago, gonna tidy up my desk a whole lot and get some pics. Think I need to get a wireless mouse for it, instead of this crappy wired microsoft one im currently on, I just have to use scroll click, cant go back to not using it now

    I'm no longer running OSX on my PC. My trial period has convinced me of my path.
    Today. I buy a Mac Pro. =) I'll get photos when I take delivery.

    ooh, a venerable bvm (or pvm?) sony crt. i loved those things.

    would grab a hd widescreen one if I could get it at a cheap price

    ahh, there's nothing quite like the sexyness of a Mac Pro or a G5 Quad. what specs does this sport?

    Original Mac Pro
    2x Dual Core Xeon 2.66ghz CPU's
    2GB RAM 4x 512MB sticks PC5300 FBDIMM
    Geforce 7300GT
    500GB Hard Drive
    Super Drive

    then the usual stuff that's in a Mac Pro
    I've since installed another 2x 1TB Seagate 7200.12's and will be sticking in another 4GB of RAM and a Radeon 4870 flashed for Mac.

    So so much nicer/quicker/etc than my old 17" that was stolen

    With that much space on your desk I personally would've opened and propped up the Macbook Pro next to the external monitor for dual screens!
