Small update was release in the last 8 hours.
Traffic optimized for complex road sections. So does this mean they won't just take the shortest route anymore?

Is this worth buying? Heard a lot of negativity about the game, curious as to the positives of it.

Doesn't really matter what server you choose, they are all located in Dublin

    Seriously? If so that's bullshit.
I can connect to the servers now, havent been able to for the last hour or so.
They really need to add more filters to the region browser. Like filter out all the regions that are full. Because, ya know, ya can't fucking join them anyway.

Holding off on making a new region in hope that I get a game invite to the OCAU region shortly :)

That'll further stress their already over worked DB and cause more issues.

Connected to Oceanic 1 ok at 5:30. I found the server would go offline this morning when I was in game but it did not cause problems if you keep playing. Remember to exit the game to save. Do not like the smaller cities but do like the curved roads.

Well currently, i load up the regions, and scroll through, show more regions, scroll through, load more regions, rinse and repeat. Surely that would put just as much stress on a server as a filter.
I still haven't found a region with an open slot, and im sure im not the only one. I have now created a new region.

Not lag exactly in the traditional sense of you pressing something and waiting 300ms for it to happen onscreen, once you are online in your city the only problems you will have are usually with regional functions (e.g. sending/receiving resources to another city), not being able to going into Cheetah speed (as it's been disabled until the servers are coping) and occasionally it will pop up that you have been disconnected from the server - and as long as you play long enough for game to reconnect you shouldn't have too many issues. The game must be run completely locally IMO and the servers run the regional aspects which can be a bit flaky atm - doesn't ruin the game - it's still incredibly addictive - but can be a touch annoying when combined with the small city size.

I thought i was missing something.
I have had to create my own public game and ive built 3 cities in my one.

The game DESPERATELY needs a "only show games with empty slots" filter, because at the moment its impossible to find a game with a free one.

Any tips for increasing population density? There is always a high demand for more residential areas but the existing ones never increase increase in density so I always end up with cities full of roads and sparsely dispersed low income housing/ shanties.

Need to upgrade roads to high density and increase land value so that rich people move in and build sky scrapers.

I'm still stuck on how to increase land value without building 1:1 parks to houses ratio which sucks my money dry though
