Dunno how this will work but seen a few posts in the android app thread about this app so I thought why not make a dedicated thread sow we can discuss the app.

So as mentioned discuss the app.

Here is last night, first night on the app, I have a feeling this is the usual for me.

I woke up a couple times wanting to go to the toilet at some stage and when my phone had just the backlight on, but fell asleep again without looking at the time.

Rating was revised a little lower since then the the green column was just a accidental part select.

Since stopping the app at 7:40 I slept for 2-2 1/2 more hours from about 8:40 or so.

No audio recorded but may have had the threshold too high.

My sleep last night was the same as the graph but a little worse.

I woke up about 7:30 laid in in bed till just now 12 or so and slept lightly a couple times.

Only graphing my main sleep as other sleeps and laydowns is something not really graphable for me as they happen all over the place for varying amounts.

been using this app for a few weeks now.

it was more accurate than i expected. days that it said i got more than 50% sleep i actually did feel better.

    Unfortunately those days are rare...

my average (14 days) is only 4:14 (h:min) of which 47% is deep sleep

interesting, i've never really trusted these apps. but i need to see a sleep specialist for sleep apnea and i really cant be bothered organising it. this might be an easier and less accurate option

I used to use the iphone ap that did the same thing, this is great it's free!

I found my "normal" wake up time was a lot earlier than what I actually woke up.

    edit: oh it's $2.50

This sensors noise levels and uses the gsensor to analyze your movement in bed at night ad shows those as the spikes.

I know I have moved around allot and that can be seen from my graphs.

I'm also curious about my speech at night etc as some nights I have woken up screaming.

I have thought about recording my sleep using a video camera but when I thought about it I know I wouldn't at all get to sleep and wouldn't know about delayed starts etc.

So this is kinda something I can use as my sleeping the last month or so has been extremely bad to the point I was sleeping only 2 hours for 48 hours before only sleeping for 5 hours for 12 hours etc.

I went for 4 days with a total of about 7 or so hours sleep about week or so ago but happy just the last few days my sleeping is normalizing at last.

Last night was a peak every 30 or so minutes and only listed as 46% for about 7 hours :/

My sleep has been peaking allot and its alittle annoying.

Phone is starting to gather data and telling me to go to bed at 1am instead of any later which last night was 1:40 or so and earliest was 12:40 or so.

Here is all the sleep under the application recorded.

I'm going to keep gathering data and I want my sleep better and not so erratic :/

Surprisingly last nights sleep felt better than the night before but I'm sure it will hit later.

Also my second sleeps before midday I haven't been recording as they are short and varied times so only my main sleeps are recorded where I start and turn the recording off manually stopping it around when I'm fully awake.

Well my sleep has been shocking last night the worst no wonder I had a small lay down at 10:30 am till 12 then laid in bed till 1 feeling like absolute crap as it hit me after that laydown and all I wanted to do was just sleep.

Tonight should be interesting as I'm planning to follow the advice and go to bed before 1am again.

I'm interested in seeing all your graphs also and how they match up and compare to mine.

Heck i've been looking at my graphs. I knew that I don't usually get much sleep but it looks as if I get an average of 6hrs 30 mins of sleep every night with about 40% deep sleep! In to bed at 11pm and up at 5:30-6AM. No wonder I need so many coffees to get started every morning. My weekend sleeps are a tiny bit longer ... 7 hours.

just on deep sleep, 15-20% deep sleep per night is average. Though I'd gather that this app would count REM sleep as well as your body relaxes during REM, so 40-50% of 'deep' sleep recorded by the app is right.

Stage 3&4 are considered to be the deep sleep periods.

I've been using the app for almost a week now.
I seem to be getting a reported 60-70% deep sleep. I assume that is an ok figure?

    This is interesting.
Based on this thread I installed and used the app last night.
    43% deep sleep for 7hours.
It will be interesting to see how it goes over the week/weekend.

    You're all lucky.

    I had 36%, 45%, 43% and 49% deep sleep :(. I sleep horribly.

I also recorded the audio. Sleep talked a couple times. Say some pretty random shit .
