First off, uninstall your drivers, reboot into safe mode, run Driver Sweeper, reboot, install the latest drivers, reboot and see if that works.

Exactly what brand and model is your power supply?

You could also confirm to test both graphics cards individually as well as testing the motherboard PCIe slots.

    Second this.
Re-seat the sli bridge, I had the exact same problem with 2 x gtx 285. It always crash with new drivers. Try 192 driver.

Did you overclock both cards? Try them on default settings or give 186 driver a try

Does the problem happen with a single card?

no it does not one card the original card runs fine. yesterday i thought i would swap the cards around so the 2nd card my new one was connected to the display loaded up fine then i ran a few benchmark test in SLI and the display was all warped really bad colours ect so i disabled SLI so it was running of one card the new one and the display was still a bit warped one of the benchmarks it would fail after about 10 seconds. so i think the card is faulty i have pulled it out and i am going to return it to were i bought it.

how do i prove it to them that it it faulty ?? im 100% sure know that that is why it was failing unless anyone else has any iders??

just give it to them. they will test it and hopefully have the same fault.

This, just tell them what you told us (Had a card, worked fine, introduced the new card, things went wrong, tried with the old card by itself which worked, tried the new card by itself which failed under benchmarks/games). They'll test it themselves and if the same thing happens (it will if the card is faulty), they replace it.
