I just called Megabuy, the guy said that I will find out this arvo if it all worked out ok, he said by the looks of it I should have secured stock has they have 290 something in the warehouse.
No, I already have 8GB in mine, I mean I also have one lying around. If they're selling for an insignificant amount, it's probably not even worth my time to sell it.
The whole server is not worth much ahaha. What is considered an "insignificant amount"? I ask because I'll be beefing mine up to 2GB so someone's 1GB stick suits me fine.
Just bought one, I think I was redirected to them last night just as Megabuy ran out of stock and took the item off their site, I clearly saw it at the usual price of $171~ but when i entered in my credit card details, it jumped to $200~. Just glad that i would have gotten one if they do actually have stock. Didn't get much sleep last night because of it, haha. I'm such a nerd EDIT: trying to log in to the ITspot site and its been taken off there too! Looks like i was the lucky last one to get one!
I'm happy to sell my stick for $15pp assuming the actual server ends up coming I ordered from dessytek on Saturday, got shipping confirmation on Sunday so assuming it arrives today I could ship out today via whatever AusPost service you like! Thats probably a lie, They were probably basing it off old figures. Although i could see how they could sell 200 of these in under an hour..
Placed my order with dessytek on Satuday, payment has gone through and got a "shipped" notification on Sunday (someone likes to work - or its automated). Now to see if it actually turns up.
HBO gave me a shipping notice yesterday (ordered on Thursday night). Hopefully get it today or tomorrow. =)
