    I've made a thread for this every year since like 2013 or 2014.

    Same old same old.

    Pretty keen. Recently got some roof racks for the Skyline. I need to go get my Snow Chains from the old mans place (or maybe some new ones) otherwise, im pretty set for the season :Pirate:

    Yes, I know a Skyline isn't exactly the normal choice for a car to go to the snow.. Especially one that was built to take to the track :Paranoid:

    I'll be at Hotham for opening weekend + a few days after pending snow. Anyone whos up feel free to join me for a skate or drinks at the Genny.

    Pretty poor this year, but saving for Hotham late July. The place where I learned to monoski decades ago. Gonna have a crack at Mary's slide on the mono.

    Assuming one of the kids gets a job and can affor to go skiing, might be up for some buller day trips as well. He plays footy on Saturday so Sunday is the only day which is a bummer as Buller on a sunday sucketh they big one.

    Living in the wrong country for sure.

    Regards,
    g@z.

    My mates and I just finished booking a driving tour of the NZ slopes from Christchurch to Queenstown and will be hitting 6 or 7 mountains over 10 days in August.

    Most of the mountains we haven't been to before, so we are hoping they put on a good show whilst being fairly low on crowds before we hit the Qtown slopes.

    Bring it on :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
    Usually do about 20 days a year between buller, falls and hotham.
    Booked my 3rd Japan trip for Feb next year.

    Got a new Jones Explorer on order for this season to replace the old GNU Billygoat.

    Generally you'd hire closer to the mountain, preferably on the mountain . Can get 1 day gear for like $60-$80 gives or take. Just check the appropriate resort website.. Had a look at falls today for ski gear. Beats hauling it up the mountain too.

    I'm hitting up falls for my annual week and Hotham too all in august can't wait. Seems to be good level of snow already! Gunna reach out and try skiing appose to my safety net, boarding for the first time in 7 years!
