    Hi all,

    What's the flow chart?

Does whacking a domain name over a gmail account only work if you send it from your email client software (Mac Mail) => Webhost with Domain name => Gmail => recipient, all dressed up properly in my Domain name and not a hint of Gmail?

Last night I followed these instructions to the letter.

I tested it from Mac Mail last night and it worked, business email address all good.

But if I bypass the Mail client (for the supposed benefits of the cloud) and send it from Gmail itself (because I'm at work and not at home) and just send Gmail => recipient, it doesn't get permanently converted? It seems to arrive back to me as the gmail address.

Am I expecting too much, or is there something wrong here?

I might be asking too much? I don't know if it can work this way.

I sent from my Mac Mail last night and received it back as the business domain name.

But if I send from Google itself it comes back as Google.

As well as the manual confirmation code I entered into my webhost last night, there seems to be a validation link that the tutorial above didn't cover.
    I might try again tonight.

But if anyone else has set up Google like this and knows if my expectations of sending from Google itself are too night, please let me know.

Ah, I know what I did wrong!

There's one last easy to miss step.
You've got to select the FROM account in the gmail you're setting up!

    Hi all,
dumb question - but how do I get my profile picture into my email now that I have CPANEL domain name forwarding to Gmail? I've added the image to Gmail, and it didn't seem to stay.

profile pics in emails is not a standard thing, corporate systems will do it (exchange, notes, o365, g-suite etc.), but over the internet, it'll probably never work.

Thanks! I mean, I can see it in my gmail but not after it's been through CPANEL and out the other end.
