[SOLVED]Mac osx - spacebar preview not working

    Normally when I would press spacebar to preview an image, it would give me a full preview of it, like so:

    However now, it only gives me a very small version of the picture and a lot of wasted space:

    This does not happen with all images, ones which I have saved a while ago are still normal. Only ones which I have saved in the last two weeks or so have the above issue. I have tried googling but haven't been able to find a solution. I haven't run any updates, or installed any sort of software. I have compared the "get info" data of both an old and a newer image, all relevant information such as extensions is identical. Don't have any clue what to do here, must be an easy fix but I am just clueless. :confused::upset:

    I can replicate this issue by removing the file extension and pressing space bar, but If I have already done a quick preview on the file before removing the extension it still works as normal. Very odd.
