Some Questions for Mini-ITX computer

    Mounting it upside-down will be fine. Just make sure that the PCI card (if you're using one) is firmly secured, so it can't fall out of the slot.

    That power supply should handle the mainboard, a HDD, and a few low-speed fans.

    thanks, and i wont be using a PCI card, im mounting this in a Car Amp that was faulty

    would the CPU overheat if the board was upside down? the CPU already idles at 50'C

    The orientation makes no difference, but you're still leaving a gap between the fan and a surface aren't you? A few centimetres at a minimum IMO (or a grill/mesh/vent above it instead, or maybe a sideways blowing fan rather than the stock config).

    That PSU will power your stuff fine. And yes, it will turn on and off with your car so long as you connect the ignition input to your cars ignition line.

    You might wanna try emailing the guys at www.mini-box.com.au for a cheaper price on the M3-ATX PSU.
