It's $550 at Sony but only $400 at Ryda so I don't think you're losing out on much https://www.ryda.com.au/sony-vg-c3em-a9-vertical-battery-grip
Might put it towards 70-200 f4 or the macro.. Grip i might grab a mieke one. Had one for my d600 nikon and it was great. Played with the 55 and a7iii today. Godddd what a killer. And the a7iii body. The grip is so deliciously chunky! The AF, the rx100vi AF is fantastic but this..wow!!! I am in love.
never used the voucher anyway myself, stuff from Sony direct is usually that overpriced Had the meike grips and did the job
I struggled to find anything to actually use mine on. Ended up just getting a spare battery and charger for my RX100 (which barely even gets used any more).
Yeah super handy for spare batteries but not super useful for many of the other accessories if you get good sales. Still better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick
Has been over 6 weeks since I jumped through the hoops on the website, and I just realise I haven't gotten a confirmation email. :/
Yep, I did it in early December and got my gift card around Christmas, maybe ~2-3 weeks. Used the gift card to pay for some of my honeymoon flights
