From what I can tell just by looking at various retailers websites, stock is fairly plentiful now...so I don't think its that much of a shock to pick one up off a shelf anymore

 

Well it was for me Totally didn't expect it and assumed they would just fly off the shelves ASAP.

 

Nah all the hardcore must have now types all got their PS4's already. I'd be surprised if there were any retail stores with no stock.

Heck I'm expecting to see eb starting to sell pre own ones soon

 

Well theres certainly not shortage of Pre-owned copied of Killzone

 

When they have a fire sale on them I might grab a copy to try out. Not gunna pay more than $20 for it though.

 

Dont think it is worth even paying $20 for it.

all I use now on my ps4 is fifa occasionally. It's just sitting there...my tv does dlna/netflix, and there are no other games out still.

I kind of want infamous but doesnt look good enough for full retail

maybe next month will be better

 

I regret buying Infamous, it didn't grab me in the first hour or two and now its sitting there collecting dust.

Next month = Watchdogs. Then The Last of Us. Should mean PS4 gets more use

 

Watchdogs is better on PC

 

As long as your PC is beefy enough to play it. Mine only just makes minimum specs, not gunna play it at low res and low effects when the PS4 or xbone can do it better.

I give Guerrilla a small amount of credit for fixing the placement and spelling of my name in the credits in the most recent patch. The fact that I had to ask them to do so though is pretty weak.

 

hmm thats what im worried about, I'll only grab it if I can get it cheap.

watchdogs for sure, already finished last of us on ps3.

I still cant work out why I didnt really like it. I finished it, but it was very average

 

if you can play it on PC with medium or high settings (or a mix of) and still achieve 60fps then you're still better off than consoles

 

It needed another year in the oven, too much clunky unpolished crap.

 

my pc's the same. I play bf4 at 1080p ultra, looks amazing but a lot of time I reckon my fps is under 20. Same as diablo3, turns into a slideshow. ps4 was meant to save me upgrading

 

i have to do a mix of settings and even lower the resolution scale to get BF4 within 50-60fps (with adaptive vsync on) on my Alienware 17 and it still looks good. I ain't the kind of gamer that will max everything out and watch it slideshow: I am more of a balanced between fps and graphics and if i can get 50-60fps and the graphics look decent then I am already winning.

 

I've tried dropping the settings, everything except res. It looks worse and doesnt seem that much quicker, so I've just left it. The res is just too high for it

oh well, ps4 only games for now will do

 

I drop the resolution scale and it helps me.

 

I picked up Daylight on PS4 as it was cheap enough and I hear criminally short so I could get through it quickly

Whoa nelly does this game run terrible on PS4. PC version doesn't do much better apparently. Hopefully this isn't an indication of performance of future UE4 games!
