I'm picturing that girl filming to be super pretty.
A little bit more perspective to add to that though. Consoles back then at launch had high end gpu's in them that cost at least double the price of what the xbone and ps4 have in them. So not as well priced as you think considering the hardware. They are most likely not taking as much of a loss in selling these next gen consoles as the previous generation.
The prices seem pretty good for a "next gen console" but what you are getting for your money is significantly less when you compare what you were getting with the last gen.
I bought PS3 to play Gran Turismo. What a disappointment. nothing like GT4. you go through each cars can't choose manufacturer. plus it really looks bad on my CRT screen. can't even download GT6 cause I'm late.
really not sure what any of that has to do with the PS4...
another one of those info graphic things...
both consoles have good and bad points on this... will post in xbone thread too
Its a good comparison.
Not alot between them honestly, and are both obviously targeted at slightly different market segments (gaming only vs gaming and entertainment)
I'd get a ps4 first purely because I prefered the exclusives on ps3 (e.g., uncharted...)
Will the ps4 allow for mp3 playback during games? The ps3 doesnt allow for it yet the xbox 360 does...
MP3 is not supported by PS4, id bet it will come in a firmware update later on.
However music playback during games probably wont. It was on the PS3 but needed to be included by the dev.
He said on his twitter that he didnt get to keep it, it was just a promo machine he got to play around with for about 2hrs. He's just greasing the Sony PR machine
Amazon are doing a buy 2 get 1 free promo on selected PS4 games. Some games don't ship to Aus, but I think majority do
He will probably get a free console on release, would only be fair
He said he ordered one like other ppl and hopes to get it a couple of days early. Not free though
All in one , as in it just has a hdmi input? I dont see the point of it. As far as I know, you cant change the channel or anything?
Well arent you just Mr Know-It-All
i love the his last comment. gold.
Not really...theres a thread on gaf dedicated to that video and it all got posted in there
I loved playing RDR on the 360 with my own spaghetti western music playing. Sold it then bought it for ps3 to play more multiplayer and was disappointed that it wouldn't allow my music to play during gameplay =(
be VERY careful with this... i'm not sure what games will ship to Aus, but you'll need to keep in mind that certain games, such as BF4... will most definitely have region locking for DLC... so if you buy the game from the US, you'll have to use a US account to play and buy the DLC
not sure if PS4 will be as nice about multiple region accounts on the 1 system like the PS3 is so buyer beware
Another games stuck at 720p, 30FPS on Xbone, This ones an exclusive
68GBps Memory Bandwidth
32MB esram 204GBps memory bandwidth ( *May help future titles hit 1080p,60FPS )
Most games need to run at 720p to stay at 30fps/60fps
COD GHOSTS 720p 60fps
BF 4 xbox One : 720p 30fps
Dead Rising 3 720p 30fps
176GBps Memory Bandwidth
Most games can run at 1080P, 60FPS
COD GHOSTS 1080p 60fps
BF 4 xbox One : 900p 60fps
This is a VERY good read on whats going on with the Xbone's performance issues, ALL is not lost for future titles
Quote: GPU’s such as the Radeon 7770 GDDR5 vs the Radeon 7770 DDR3 show that the DDR3 version is up to 90 percent slower than the the GDDR5 version...
as long as you buy the dlc on the aussie store you should be ok, PS3/4 games are all region free.
But if you buy the dlc from another regions store using an alternate user account you wont be able to play that content on an account from any other region.
Its dumb but its always been that way.
