Which version of ridge racer do u have? Jap or US? I have the jap one and there isnt a max difficuly. All there is is basic, pro, and ex. Does the US have more or is EX the same as MAX?

I have the US version so it has the added tour.
Just imagine the last few racers in the pro tour where you are against the special cars, its just like that but your vs 4 regular cars and they have unlimited nitro, barstards!

Burgo the JAP value pack is around AU$390 once you add shipping, then customs charges are $102 so it's nearly 500 all up. ;)

Can't beleive no one has thought about this already - why don't we do a group buy?

I imagine we'd be able to get PSP Value Packs for under $200USD with 10+ people.

I seriously doubt it, no retailer would discount them that much. Maybe 10 bucks at the most but i dont know of any of them that support group buys, doubt any would :/

Well Hong Kong based company's sell with buy it now prices under $200USD, so with 10+ people I can only imagine that being smaller.

Sefu - how the F*(& are you winning any of the max tour races? I don't bump into anything and take the 'perfect' line in corner, etc. and the best I could ever manage was second for the first race! :(

I picked mine up for 26,000 yen in akihabara. usb/power cable was 940 yen, sony memory stick duo was 7900 yen and Ridge Racer was 4200 or 5200 (cant remember)

those should be normal prices, as we just went to akihabara one day and found most places had those prices.
