Sony Xperia Z3 Compact

Well so far it's been 5 days since charge and I'm on 25% battery. Not too bad for frugal use.

EDIT: By frugal I mean I'm utterly militant with my usage and turning Wi-Fi and data off when not required. I'm not a heavy phone user so y'all don't get the wrong idea about this phone.

I've got the full size Z3 and it is amazing on battery life as well.

I use mine a lot during the day and always leave everything on (WiFi etc) with push mail for work.

By 8 or 9pm with 2 hours of calls and an hour or so of screen time the phone can still be around 80%.

The phone is very nice as well but it is the battery life that stands out for me.

 

just turn on ultra stamina mode and be done with it.

with normal stamina mode on my Z2 i easily get 3 or 4 days out of the battery

 

Just activated ultra-stamina; I can't do anything however. As most the stuff I use it online and not phone calling and such. It would have been perfect overseas when I was in NZ earlier this year as I didn't have data roaming so my phone was only used for texting and very light calls if absolutely needed.

I'm keen to do some tests with it with regards to how long I can keep it going with Stamina however. I need to do a all out test before my super data cap with Telstra runs out in a few days.

 

My Z3C just fell off my guitar amp onto my pedal board, about a 1 meter drop. It landed face down on a metal pedal and I was expecting the worst, however it came up unscathed.

Battery life is great, under heavy use I'm getting 2 days with about 20% left, so it would almost make 3. Once the novelty wears off I'm sure I'll get 3-4 days.

Has anyone tried these S-line cases? I have a similar one on my S4 and it's an awesome case for the money. The grips on the side help it stay in my hand a lot.
