Hey peeps! So I'm having a massive brain fart.

I felt like Enchiladas tonight, so grabbed a box, grabbed the cheese, chicken and sour cream, only to discover that they make no mention of sour cream on the instructions, but I've legit always put sour cream on them? (The Elpaso brand kit).

Have I been doing these wrong my entire life? If so, good because they taste amazing!

Trying to upload the photo I took but it's saying it's too big :D

Sour cream imo is fine if you are adding cheese to it anyway.

When I was in Mexico they didn't even use sour cream, just regular cream. Weirded me out, ngl.

I use mayo. I've wasted enough money on Sour Cream that's already gone off in the packet when I open it that evening.

Alternative, yogurt sauce with some garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper & oregano.

Strange, I've never had an issue with sour cream and I often keep it well past expiration.

Sounds like a tzatziki? Must have consumed half my body weight in tzatziki when I was in Greece, couldn't get enough.

It's similar but it's not exactly the same because I can't stand cucumber and don't really like dill. I also don't put olive oil in it while many classic tzatziki recipes don't use lemon while I use lemon and lime.

It's also good in another way, it stops me buying middle eastern garlic sauce which is 99% oil and is horrendously unhealthy in the quantities I let myself eat.
