South Melbourne Dim Sims

    I absolutely love these things. They're amazing, I don't know if the fish n chip shop sth melbourne dim sims are the real thing but they're still good, nothing like getting them fresh from the market.

    They have branched out and supply a lot of places now - so you can get them at a lot of places.

    You are right though - they are fantastic! Making me hungry now

    yeah, you can get them from quite a few places - my closest is the charcoal chicken in Beaumaris

    I use to get my fix @ the chippie shop @ Hampton and also @ Sandringham :)

    and lots of pepper and salt! some find the pepper overpowering, but if you like pepper - then these are great.

    hated the line back in the day when i worked in south melb.
    not worth the wait when the line goes half way down the street :sick:

    They are not bad, but certainly not great. Certainly not worth lining up for.

    Well, I was gonna go on thursday but they're not open then....any alternative places for a sydney-sider to give this melbourne delicacy a try?

    They have a store in Emporium Melbourne level 3 food court.

    Also have seen frozen south Melbourne Dim sims in woolies or Coles
