South Melbourne Dim Sims

I absolutely love these things. They're amazing, I don't know if the fish n chip shop sth melbourne dim sims are the real thing but they're still good, nothing like getting them fresh from the market.

They have branched out and supply a lot of places now - so you can get them at a lot of places.

yeah, you can get them from quite a few places - my closest is the charcoal chicken in Beaumaris

 

I use to get my fix @ the chippie shop @ Hampton and also @ Sandringham

I don't understand the appeal! To me they are a gargantuan chunk of oversalted mince.

 

and lots of pepper and salt! some find the pepper overpowering, but if you like pepper - then these are great.

hated the line back in the day when i worked in south melb.

Also have seen frozen south Melbourne Dim sims in woolies or Coles
