Feel kind of put off from Squad at the moment due to the imbalance of skills on the main Aussie servers [BigD]. There is a clan tag of |F| and the members of that clan (some who are also BigD admins) squad up together and steamroll every match on most nights. They are far superior to everyone else that plays and leaves little chance for a good close enjoyable match. Even being on their side and winning is not enjoyable.

Squad itself is amazing, but as that clan has grown and recruited the top tier players it stuffs up the balance.

I've been playing Battlefield lately just because its possible to play against people of the same skill level.

I think even a half decent squad can easily negate the effect that guys like floop (haxxx!) have. Games definitely can feel imbalanced, but I think it comes down to the SL's more than anything.

This game rewards teamwork above all else.

Hats off to the guys for being this good, I just don't think its a positive thing for the Aussie community.

On a more positive note, here's some videos I've made from the Aussie squad servers,

Some vehicle gamplay with a cool firefight at the end

    A couple of kills

    Kills montage..

    One round playing medic

Aerial view of one of the maps (Sumari Bala)

    Are you panda virus?

I've played many games with someone with that name on Insurgency, and if same person, he definitely is good.

PS- I had this game on my wishlist since it was released, and it has just come on special for $20 (USD?)!

I agree with Rainey! Squad really is a great game, but sometimes you do get steam rolled by the more experienced clan guys. I need to try it since the latest update came out.

Nah I play as [TAS] Rainey. Not really a clan, just 3 of my mates that play together use that tag to identify ourselves as a squad.

More screenshots, because sometimes I get bored and like to fly around the maps in AdminCam for fun. The first 2 screenshots are taken from a new map that dropped today (Kokan Valley).

I avoided 'free weekend' at all costs. Didn't play it other than to fly around solo. I dropped into a server, discovered SL's didn't realise they were SL's, and didn't know how to claim a vehicle, spent ages at Main Base, by that time other team had capped all flags... quit server. :upset:

runs a lot better than when i played it 2 months ago.

i only got 2 rounds in over the free weekend. was chaos, a lot of people running around with no clue. everybody seemed to be enjoying it though so should be good for player numbers in the long run.

haha yep, same here avoided the servers this weekend. Jumped into a 3/4 full server and the optimizations are a -lot- better now.
The new additions and minor changes to things are nice touches too.

Not sure if anyone else is having problems with key bindings at all?

I select a key to bind for "prone" but when I press it nothing happens.
