The only other 'test' I tried was copying 100GB RDR2 install from my Samsung M2 to the Silicon Power one ;) That was running 1.5GB some of the time with it sitting around 1.0GB most of it. Not sure what else I can do! The Samsung Evo 960 doing just over 2.0GB on that same ATTO bench, using the Samsung magician bench Samsung hits 2.6G while SP hits 3.0G so at the very least SP doing better on benches!

Anyone know if the Samsung 860 QVO 2TB is on sale anywhere?

    Thanks.

PCCG have them but kindly note that once you exhaust the SLC buffer on the QVO's the 1 TB write speed drops down to about 75 MB's and the 2 TB and 4 TB write speeds are double that at about 150 MB's so if that isn't an issue for you these drives should be OK.

It's just for infrequent exteral enclosure use, so hopefully it will be fine.

Even the tri core 1TB+ 860 EVOs also hit about 80MB/sec once the buffer runs out.

Last SSD I bought I haven't used it properly, huhuhuhu. Only speed tested it, wet my panties, then that was it.
