overseas sites are listed at $590 and slighty lower just a qustion of if they will ship and yea that puts the price over 600 but under 700.

I know you can get them OS for less than $722, but no where at all under $600....that's scraping the barrel buddy! Sheesh :p Unless a "free postage" offer comes up.

I'll keep an eye out for you.

I have just chimed in and don't really want to look though this entire thread, but what is going on with ssd prices, I just had a look and a lot of the drives seemed to have gone up 50%

Im just chasing a shitty drive for a mining rig and was astounded at the prices. I grabbed 2 sandisk 60G cheapos for US$62 through amazon, then here they are AU$90

60gb drives are a poor method of looking at pricing though, they have always been over $1 a gig, the larger capacities the prices are resonably stagnant, and some have increased slightly (due to the falling dollar)

That is true, but I recall buying a 120gb intel 520 drive for $120 a year or so ago, I had a look yesterday, it was up around the $180 mark. I thought if anything it would have gone down.

    It's increasingly looking that way.
However, let's wait and see until Amazon UK make it official.

Haven't caught up with the latest in that thread, was it a pricing error?
