Amazon ship a LOT of things to Australia with fairly reasonable postage. I got my 128GB M4 yesterday 40GB SSD just wasn't cutting it anymore.
Thank you thread! Just ordered a 256. $295 is a steal. Was going to buy a 128gb for like 200 from pccg haha
Ah great, when did you place your order? I went with the cheaper postage option. Serves me right for being a tight arse
Saturday ordered, shipped Monday US time, not bad considering it was the President's Day holiday. I had an order from a US store sent with USPS 'Priority Mail International Parcels' last Tuesday also arrive today. 9 days is pretty good turn around, so hope for late next week?
is that 295 aud? currently back up to 315 aud will probably still buy it anyway edit: just realised thats because the AUD took a tumble my banks site st.george is showing it would cost $293(plus there currency conversion fee) but thats out of date and i can be assured they will charge me the current rate at the time of the transaction
It was $295 USD... http://camelcamelcamel.com/Crucial-2-5-Inch-Solid-State-CT256M4SSD2/product/B004W2JL2A
Gah. Girlfriend bought a whole lot of stuff on credit card so my amazon transaction was rejected as limit was reached. Will just hope it goes down soon haha
I'm fuming because Friday night, I was in the process of getting my credit card out and buy one for ~$295 ...but I fell asleep - too drunk! I wake up Saturday to find that they are now $30 more expensive.
It's back down to $295.99 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B004W2JL2A
Yup, more people need to use CamelCamelCamel and their alerts. I first started using it when trying to get an Asus Transformer last year when they sold out like hotcakes all the time. Now I have to remember to delete my email/twitter alerts, as I already have all the items I had it watching.
Just jumped on one for $305 USD shipped!!! $10 shipping is cheaper than what some local stores charge!
Only had one experience. My wife's kindle screen broke, so Amazon sent her a brand new kindle and asked that she send the broken one back within 30 days of receiving the new one. They then refunded the cost of shipping the broken kindle back to them. Not bad really!
I would imagine it is quite good considering their size. However I'd be curious to know peoples experiences also....in terms of return time, ease of replacement and outlay (postage costs) for the process.
