You guys don't have much luck, I've been running the beta through steam on windows 7 64bit without issue. Let's hope an update comes out soon to fix it.

 

Anyone running this on steam TURN OFF AUTO UPDATE. Launch the game via the .exe only or you're going to have to download the entire client again, like me

EDIT: If your client crashes and you have to restart, back up your files before launching again as it will delete the files.

restored the original beta files and instead of steam downloading the whole thing again, it only downloaded a small portion
Now the launcher is patching.

 

11 minutes, as soon as it finishes I'm making a backup and hiding it under my pillow.

 

any ideas where to find the .exe just searched through my steam folders andcant find nothing ><
