Just watched the movie and pretty keen to get this on the origin Mexico store for $27US but sounds like I need to use the force and resist the dark side and pass on it.

id say its more likely to be given the free for X hours "game time" that titanfall and several other of EAs bigger but flopped or ageing titles have received.

wait for that. you won't want to play more than its free amount of hours anyway (usually they offer 24 or 48 hours, or something - i believe its counted as actual in game time, not say 24hours from when you launched it)

This is why a browser is better., otherwise you have NFI what is going on.. and why not have queuing for servers? gg EA.. talk about $$$ ripped off :(

Really want to play after I'm done with Fallout 4, but this is so sad.

    I'll just resist...

Actually got a game of walker assault last night..
But people were saying it was bugged and was a never ending game...
I was lvl 1 to start with obviously, so didn't have any upgrades etc
But my k/d radio was something like 20/8
Can't wait till I get better weapons :)

But then the wife was calling me to come to bed, so I had to disconnect :(

Same here, racked up some obscene points. Closed the game and later found the points didn't accrue...

    That is complete garbage.

While I am now favoring the T21B, I can do just as well using the E11 or the Rebel starter rifle.

You're just not employing the right play style!

Yep i've only just started and am now on lvl 4 using the starter rifle..
In the 3 games i've had, i've been middle of the pack to 3/4 of the way up...

This game is great... when you can find a game. Which seems to be very rarely... and when you do it's laggy as all hell. But still, playing as any of the villains or heroes is so much fun - managed to go 28/7 on a round of hero hunt the other day which was hilarious - the emperor was pretty much unstoppable :D

Due to the lack of response from DICE on anything regarding matchmaking being a festering pile of runny dog shit, some people on the Battlefront forum on EA set up an Australian subreddit for co-ordinating games. I found this the other day and forgot about it, just joined it today.

Game is fun but seems to be near dead, very hard finding a match. Also once you unlock the Dl 44, you will just breeze through games.

So glad I didn't buy this.

Hopefully battlefront "2" is better. e.g., not p2p, more content in the base game, more involved gameplay...

    Doubt it though.

Alternatively, a new jedi knight game wouldnt go astray. I guess it'd have to ignore kyle now given the new timeline. Set it during Luke's formation of a new jedi order?

A 2nd burn from EA has finally put the nail in the coffin for me. Origin/EA can EAD from now on. I don't give a fuck what they release in future, I'll no longer be buying what they're selling. Titanfall, burn. SWBF, burn.

Its not P2P, its just lacking a server browser.

Just don't buy in to the preorder bullshit anymore, I used to but not anymore.
Wait for reviews, either peer or critic (the Interwebs can get them out fast these days), before paying them a red cent.

The hype train can be misleading. (Same with movies I guess).

There's never a good enough reason for pre-ordering.

You need to be selective about your pre-ordering. This is something that people actually got to PLAY before release so they should have known at the time if they wanted it.
