10 dorrah says that you can *constantly* make workers and be OK. You will die to every early push in the game, but if you survive 5 mins or so that is the hard part over and your econ will crush all! You may run into a problem when you're at 200/200 and you have 150 workers lol.
Can you not just have a look? I just had a quick look at a random replay and a worker did 10 trips in ~67 seconds + 17 seconds build time so around 85 seconds game time or ~60 seconds real time. This slightly changes when you add the 3rd worker to each patch though. I cbf counting though, too hard with all the workers everywhere.
Really you never need to cut probes until you are playing competitively, you might get 2 units extra for some kind of timing push but it makes you far more all in.
You don't need to do anything fancy to beat most people, you can win all the way to the top of diamond just playing a solid straight forward game.

Just wondering if its possible to reset the research tree to reallocate points? I made some pretty sucky decisions (never played SC or any RTS before SC2) like building 2 SCVs instead of automated refinery...that weird cat thing instead of the big drop ship...etc.
Really dont want to be punished by having to start a whole new campaign just because Im new to the game =\

Just had a pretty good game against a Terran that tried to Reaper Rush me with around 7 Reapers.
why did he wait so long to attack with the reapers?
also, after waiting so long, why not wait for the MM to move up and attack before/instead of sending the reapers over by themselves.
Load an older save.. you'll have to play some missions again though. But to be honest, you can complete everything on Hard without spending any research points. So yea... don't worry too much about it. Hell, you could probably do it on brutal, it'd just take a bit longer.

Well, to be honest, I have no idea. Guess he was just used to Cheesey builds, hence the Reapers + MM.

Im 9 minutes into this and the zerg still hasnt got metabolic boost or even an extractor up.
i never said they were actually good, never would have been in that situation if they were. Just thought it was a funny game.

I had the same thing happen. I was terran and the player dropped was a protoss. I took control of his units and built heaps of stalkers with my reapers. rushed and we won also thanks to my other team mate with voids.
The player I took control over had top score at the end too lol.
I hate being teamed up with zerg players. All's they do is send 6 zerglings at the start, they die then they dont have any more forces left for ages and cant defend themselves.
