my impressions of multiplayer apart from getting raped (havent played since about 2000) is its definitely a great time, doesn't seem much different at all..

My issue is also with the graphics though, as it seems like im playing in 640x480 its zoomed in so far.. like c&c was in dos mode. even at 2560x1600 on a 30" monitor.

Call me crazy but Im a fan of graphics and after allllll this time and the crazy money blizzard have from WoW i expected a bit more from that dept. apart from that im liking the ass raping im getting

    omggggggggggggggg game is so good.

just played 5 or so 3v3 matches with some mates, got owned so many times and now im in bronze league :( haha

but best fun ive had in a long long time. my mates were dropping a lot though... i havent dropped once yet *touch wood*

    Edit:

its so people who run higher res dont have an advantage over others... same zoom level for all keeps it fair.

jno, you can only log into it with an activated account, it's all done online, you can install it on every pc in the world, yet you need to own it to log in regardless.

    SP Campaign is pretty fun.

The choice to upgrade whatever you want is a great addition.

    EB Games: $98

American DD: $66.53 (converted from $US59.99)

Had some great games with a mate last night. He has never played Starcraft/Warcraft before, so it was interesting looking at his build order (Refinery, Barracks, Marine, Marine, Scv, Marine, Marine). Lucky we were playing against the AI to start with

He picked it up pretty quick after that, running around with a Marine/Marauder/Medic ball, which seems to be pretty easy to get to grips with. Now to try and explain why Stim is awesome

The single player and challenges sections seem like fun.

Jumped into multi though last night, 3-2 into gold for placements, was way out of practise since I kinda ignored phase 2. Also I didn't realise there were new maps :o, jumped into my first game on that Xel Naga map and went to send out a scouting probe only to realise I had no idea where exactly the other spawn was .

this has me livid.... no distribution costs for them (as they use bittorent for users to download the game) and they want to charge more then retail for a digital copy....
i was so close to pirating the game just as a royal fuck you to blizzard, getting a copy from DSE with free express delivery for $69.97

I'm calling it... D2 fanbois will hate how casual D3 is. D3 will force more bnet shit, and will have paid dlc/expansions that would normally have been included with the game, had blizz not been taken over by Activi$ion.

Not buying sc2. I'll wait for some new pvpgn lol. WTB old blizzard back :(
